Like the art
form, airbrush tanning involves the use of special equipment
that basically sprays an even shade of color over the entire
body. The advantages to airbrush tanning are numerous compared
to using self-tanners, tanning beds, and lying out in the sun.
So far, the
practice of airbrush tanning is deemed perfectly safe. DHA is
meant for external use only and should never be sprayed on the
eyes, nose or mouth and shouldn’t be inhaled or ingested. When
getting an airbrush tan it is recommended to wear the proper
safety equipment, which includes nose and earplugs and balm for
the lips. EO Tan™ will provide these items for you at

EO Tan™
provides EVERYTHING you need for a flawless, beautiful airbrush
tan. The Pop-Up Tanning Tent will protect your carpet and
floors. Your airbrush tan will take place in this tent, and the
very little overspray will simply fall into the bottom of the
tent, and not your floor.
We provide
protection for the bottom of your feet in order to keep solution
from
absorbing and turning your feet dark. You
never want too much solution on your hands and feet or they will
be very dark. EO Tan™ technicians are trained and certified to
be sure your hands and feet look normal, and not like an Oompa
Loompa.
After your
airbrush tan, the technician will dry you for about 5 minutes. After that, you are fine
to put dark colored, baggy clothes on.
Lying out in
the sun or in a tanning bed is no longer considered a healthy or
safe way to get a tan. Whether from traditional sun bathing or
tanning booths, doctors universally agree that UV rays are
harmful to your health. In recent case-control studies,
traditional ultraviolet light tanning beds have been linked to
melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers. Also,
exposure to UV rays is the number one cause of
premature aging. Airbrush tanning
offers an alternative to sunbathing and tanning beds, but still
offers the bronzed look you crave, in only 15 minutes from start
to finish.
Airbrush
tanning is the best way to acquire a beautiful sunless tan.
Achieving this same airbrushed effect with a spray tanning booth
is extremely difficult. Rub-on creams can be impossible. A spray
tanning booth may give a uniform spray all-over but
may (emphasis may) not give the enhanced effects you wish to
accomplish. A booth does not offer a customizable color. So when
you push the button in the booth, you get the same color as the
person before you, no matter what your skin tone is. A rub-on
cream is great for a quick fix, or to touch-up, however you will
find that achieving an all over body tan will be more time
consuming and not as even as with an airbrush tan.
